Troop 60 was chartered in 1972. We have a medium sized troop, with approximately 45 boys from ages 11 through 17.
The boys do their best in defining the annual camping program, as well as planning other activities such as weekly troop meetings, service projects, merit badge outings, court of awards and other fun activities. All of our boys love to camp and play games. They also enjoy rock climbing, caving, canoeing, shooting sports, fishing and swimming, as these are always the most attended activities. We also have a great group of adult volunteers to help our troop along.
Annually our troop participates in the St. Charles Scarecrow Festival by manning the "Make your own Scarecrow booths". Recently our boys have really enjoyed helping the non-profit agencies "Feed My Starving Children" and "Northern Illinois Food Bank".
